How Do I Use Chat & How Can Serendipity Make Chat Better With Location?

With Serendipity, we make everything better.  Even simple things such as chat.  Say you are at the airport picking someone up and they are messaging you where they are but you cannot find them.  With Serendipity, we bring in location alongside your chats so while you are messaging people, you can see where they are in real time! 

To use this feature do the following:

1. Navigate to the Main Menu
2. Click on Chat
3. Then on the top right of the screen click on the + icon to add a connection who you want to chat with.
4. Simply click the checkbox next to the connection you want to chat with and click Done on the top right.
5. Then at the bottom type your message to that connection and begin your chat.  You can also add images or video to the chat by clicking on the photo camera icon on the bottom left. 
6. You will also see a places icon in dark blue next to that camera icon on the bottom left of the screen.  Simply click that and the screen above changes to a map where you can see your location and their location.  This should really help you to help find each other.  Use your fingers to zoom in on the map.

Group Chat

Please know that we also offer a group chat  When you click to add a connection to a chat, you can choose multiple people and after you do this, can you Create a Group Name for the chat and now you will have a group chat!

Steps to Turn On Closed Captioning in Other Languages:

• Open the video: Go to the YouTube video you want to watch.
• Turn on CC: Click or tap the CC (Closed Captioning) icon on the video player so it is turned on.
• Open Settings: Click or tap the Gear (Settings) icon on the video player.
• Select Subtitles/CC: Choose Subtitles/CC from the menu.
• Choose Auto-Translate: Click Auto-translate.
• Pick a Language: Scroll and select your preferred language from the list.
